The colder the air getting in to the engine the better :) . Have a play with it I say as you have nothing to loose . you might notice a bit of lag as the turbo has to fill a bigger area but you can adjust the boost and the pump to compensate for that .

It sounds like your answered your first Q yourself :) , Im running **** part gas shocks and HD springs on mine and apart from the paint coming off on the springs I dont have any probs with them ( still wouldnt buuy bearings or seals from them tho ) . But Headlight bowls and lamps = Halogen...

Got some ford focus speakers in a homemade MDF box that squares off the pannel for the rear lights both sides , sounds alright tbh . just bolted to the arch with some angle brackets and one screw holding the top down :) . 8" active sub rachet strapped to the dog guard works a treat too :D .
