Hi Guys, What is the name of the small white clips that hold on the black panel that runs the length of the windscreen? My panel has lifted on the driver side and white clips are not holding it, they seem very worn. I want to replace them but I dont know what they are called lol Thank you!

Hi Guys, I have replaced the rear air bags on my p38. it is fine on the driver's side but the passenger's side is leaking. The car takes a few days to go down. I have replaced the pipe going into the collet plug but there is a piece of weld on the chassis making it difficult. I presume this...

I am 28 years old with a p38 4.6 v8. I am with Sureterm for my insurance and I pay 350 quid a year, covered for 5,000 miles. I do have a nice postcode though :D

you need to get some shock and unlock from halfords i had the same problem this will help set it out :D

Hi Guys, Changed air springs today, all went well until father in law hit height sensor and broke the arm off. I have ordered a new one. Callibrating this is not going to be easy - I think it might have to be done by land rover?! HELP!

You have got to remember that oil is a also a coolant, keeping this changed at regular intervals helps alot. Flushing the radiator every year or so to clean all the muck out of the system is a good idea. If heads are fine, not warped or gaskets gone or liners havent dropped it will be absolutely...

I have now put on a new pneumatic casting with new reed valves and it takes a long time to lift the car and the pump is really hot!!! Do I need to let the car run to re pressurise system? Thanks again,

The reed valve for the inlet is bent at the end. I accidently bent it, by dropping a spanner on it - ooopss! What will this do to the pump if you put it back together bent? :confused: I am going to replace the reed valve.

Thanks wammers. The longest reed is bent at the very end. I think this is why the pump works ok but doesnt build up very much pressure. I can put my finger over the end, just. It just doesnt seem right. Thanks for all your help.

Hi Guys, I am writing this on behalf of my husband who has had to go back to work, so you will have to excuse me if I am not using the correct terms! He has taken the compressor out of the car so he can change the teflon seal in between the piston and the clamp ring. After many swear words...

My pair of rear air springs arrived today and new R clips. Just waiting for a EAS cable and software to come, then will get started. Thanks ever so much for your pictures, it is appreciated. Rowland.

hi guys i have just ordered new air spring for rear of my p38 i have heard that you have to get all the air out of the springs, if so whats the best way any help would be grand :)

its a 4.6 v8 i doubt that i rebuilt engine with a new block with flat top liners and all new parts
