Dont know how correct this is but my mate works in a 4x4 workshop and has for many years and he says the plastic top goes out of shape and leaks, he said throw the old one away and use a new on and it will stop leaking. Being a Land Rover it will only start leaking from somewhere else.

I wrap some thread tape round the threads of the top and never have any problem with leaks.

Is it sitting low on one corner ???, no only joking.

Mine like to go to the high mode now and then , it was the driver in the valve block playing up, well i had a spare and put that on and it hasn't done it since.

I had the hot start problem on my vehicle, anyway i had the battery die on me so i was given a brand new tractor batttery , put that on and it cured my hot start problems, maybe its not your problem but its worth making sure yours is in tip top condition.

I put the biggest strongest battery on my P38 and the connecters where the wrong way round so i just moddified the leads, putting a lot stronger battery on has cured my hot start problem, it now starts first crank hot or cold.

The alarm is near the earth lead, I know it sounds bloody stupid and i thought twice about posting it as i might get some stick, but that was what was happeng to my vehicle, found out putting it in drive was moving the engine slighty and pulling on this lead breaking contact

Now i have a DSE and i had a problem where it would stall going from P to D unless i gave it a few revs but i found the problem while looking to cure another problem, this sound like a load of bs and your problem may be a million miles from mine but it was a bad earth on the lead that is bolted...

The pump motor is no good, seperated the pump from the motor and the remains of the motor fell out, to be honest its my fault, i replaced the motor 6 months ago and i thought should that fluid be there, and now its done another motor. I read the "how to test your abs pump" and when i earthed...

Something must have failed as there is a bearing there for the pump and i dont think a bearing should be drowning in brake fluid.

Thankyou Datatek i will look them up, the brake fluid is not a problem as i am putting the pump and remains of the motor in the bin but i was just wondering.

Ok, i have had my dse for 7 years and had and cured 95% of my problem with help from this site thankyou, but i am not sure about this..i have removed my abs pump as its decided to die , when i seperated the pump from the motor there were a small quanity of brake fluid between them, i am not sure...

M drivers side blend motor is stuck on hot, if i get to warm i shove a bit of rag in the floor vent, will fix it when i get the o rings leaking.
