i have a 1990 90. sod originality, make it your own if that's what makes you happy. mine started life looking that same as yours but in a hardtop flavour.
it's now sporting a puma bulkhead and rear door and original 90 front doors (lift up handles and wind up windows) it's had a back garden...
spot on thanks, the wires had corroded and the plugs probably came off. i rolled back some of the loom tape and found them. thanks for your help, much appreciated
cheers fella, but that's what i was afraid of. i have no wiring that looks anything like that, let alone with spade terminals on. i must be missing something here, out of interest, where does the wiring disappear to?

Hi folks. i'm in the middle of replacing my 300tdi engine for one with considerably less miles on her.
however, it appears that i have overlooked a problem with the fuel injection pump. it's different to the one that is on my current engine.
where i am used to seeing the stop solonoid there...
i've just junked my BP supergaz +2 HD kit in favour of new take off supplied by urban truck. what a difference, they are night and day better both on and off road. Land rovers travel across africa on standard suspension, thats good enough for me lol
it looks pretty straight forward, there are a few captive bolts to cut off and some missing holes i will use a rivnut gun for. the only other thing is altering the transmission tunnel, other than that it looks fairly easy
