woo hoo - just reassembled it after taking the amp apart and finding nothing wrong with it. Plugged it all in and cranked up the stereo and it works! Trouble is I don't know what I did to fix it. Maybe one of the multiplugs wasnt in properly or a bad connection. Anyway sounds great now thanks...

While I was faffing about inside my rear door I accidentally pulled the cable out from the HRW. I am assuming thats what it was cos it dont work now. Anyone know how the heck I can get it back on again? I can't see any lug for the connector to go on (spade terminal) and theres no where to get...

Tope hose? that sounds a bit fishy to me. I was keen to take the whole thing off and throw it in the bin. I cut the branch pipe off the intercooler pipe and welded a patch over it. You can get a 200TDi intercooler hose otherwise which will fit.

Just done this job myself at the wekend. Your right about Haynes - no help at all. You need to disconnect the little linkages, undo the 2 screws that hold the child lock switch in place and remove it, then you need a Torq adapter socket to undo the 2 bolts that hold the main latch into the door...

Yep just make sure theyre well insulated and tuck em in the roof lining out of the way.

I replaces the 2 speakers in the rear pillars with Kenwood ones. Sounds good but could do with more bass!

I think I'd just get a standard one - or take it off - who needs to see behind anyway, with landy's theres rarely anything behind anyway!

Got one in mine, never taken any notice of it but always have the green light lit. Saying that I have never been dazzled by a car behind me so it must work. I'll try and have a look in the handbook.
