Just been to Tescos and Pura veg oil is only 56p a litre - just got to finish my conversion and HAPPY DAYS...

cheapest ive seen in tescos is tescos on brand veg oil which is in 3 litre bottles with a blue cap, 73p litre i think.

what do the bottles look like?

yep, 56p a litre is the regular price in tescos for pura, shelf normally empty though, I was lucky and emptied the shelves of all 24 litres on thursday, LIDL is also normally 56p a litre and they normally always have it available

78p/L in Lidl (unless its suddenly dropped) and in 1L bottles which is a nuisance

not lidl in newbury was 56p in 1 litre bottles 2 weeks ago and has been for a long time, i normally buy a few boxes (15 to a box)....only got it from tescos this time cos they actually had some of the pura instead of the normal empty shelf... most of the tesco stuff is at least 67p a litre and upwards

Aye, 56p in tescos today, but its for my chips! Don't think any of my petrol engines would like any of that. Whats the cheapest vodka you can buy?

Ere Trewy, i dint believe it but it's true, i've just stocked right up in Truro on 56 p a litre Pura Rapeseed oil, seems Tesco and Sainsbury are both doing it now. Only prob is they're in one litre bottles so i've a load of em kicking around me boot now and it's gonna be a bit of a faff filling up!
