    Sunroof

n18rks and Saint, That's how it should work. I think the poster has the same problem as myself. Can't set the sunroof and the dash display tells me it's open even when it is not. When I try to set sunroof it stops part way back and I have to press again to fully open it, same when closing so no...

    P38 Becm issues - I think!

Ok thanks for the reply. Read through Nanocom functions details and it say's the EKA entry only works on BeCM's which are version PAM (V36) or higher so perhaps that is why. I will have to remove the seat trim and see what version I have.

    P38 Becm issues - I think!

Hi Datatek, Sorry to highjack the thread, I have a Nanocom Evo II and tried the enter EKA function. Nanocom showed "instructing BeCM" but vehicle was still immobilised and had to press remote to start. The way I see it, either I am doing something wrong or, I have the wrong EKA code for the...

    Nanocom Evolution II Available

Hi all, Over the last 12 months this forum has been invaluable for it's information and general willingness of it's members so, I would like to give a bit back if I can. I purchased a Nanocom a couple of weeks back for my 1999 4.6 HSE Motronic (Thor) and have had time to play and get to...

    Bushes.....

Rebushing does make a difference as over time the rubber wears and hardens with age. Steer clear of the Polybush route as they make the ride more harsh in my experience.

something different as a facelift for the p38.. disco2..

I think it looks very promising and will be interested to see the final result. I've always considered the front of the p38 to be the one area the designers failed with as it looks very plain, not worthy of such an up market motor. Keep up the good work mate :)

    Interior Tart Up Complete

Thanks Chaps, nice to know others like it. I am very pleased with the results, many hours flatting and polishing, but worth the effort. It's amazing how it has lifted the overall look and feel of the interior and made it look modern. Have to decide now whether to do the dash and door inserts to...

    Interior Tart Up Complete

Following on from my other post "Interior Tart Up" the panels are all back in place and I am pleased with the results. Not to everyone's taste I know, but better than the scratched cheap looking original plastic finish I think.

I assume the motor unit contains the control, so as I'm no electronics type, a second hand unit off Ebay will have to do......Cheers :)

    Heater Core O Rings done.

Thanks Datatek, for some reason after battery disconnection I have to re-synch both keys through the drivers door lock (hold lock button, turn and hold in lock position for several seconds). It never works just putting the key in the ignition. Maybe the coil around the ignition barrel is not...
