Yeah 265 75 16's I think any bigger I would either have to go higher or cut more away to get decent clearance. Ill wait till I have broken/damaged it before I get bigger tyres! :)

By law i think your car is meant to be able to pass an MOT at any time. If you know about a fault you should repair it asap. With temp mine sit's at half way once up to temp

yeah should be able to undo no problems. there should be a access prompt above if need be but you should be able to use a spanner and rachet 14 m I think

Thanks it say's in the ebay add it fits all 24 spline front diff's so im guessing you could use a front diff flange for the rear? only ask as my friend has a spare diff i can FOC also do i need to worry about back lash etc?

I would say a 300tdi is probably easier to modify for off roading but im not sure as i have never worked on a td5. If you intended to keep it for road use with only slightly bigger tyres I wouldn't bother to do a 2" lift as you only really lift it to fit much bigger tyre's 32/35" upwards. I...

umm try get one with an su carb as the standard carb's are crap when you show them some dust/mud. I never liked the SPOA or spring over axle conversion as i found it to unstable. also avoid lift shackles that stick down like ladders they dig in and can bend the springs. Thanks Im pretty good at driving off road never really got stuck in my SJ and only broke 1 shaft the whole time i had it. But i was wondering if the disco's where prone for stuff breaking? like trailering arm bush's? or rear diff centre bearing bush thing etc
