yellow knob should only be pushed down when 4 x4 is required in high, it stays up when put into low as its 4x4 directthink its sposed to stay down then rock it to release it ! snot wot they sayin
right it will only stay down in high ,if it doesnt check the shafts under the tin cover arent sticking, and if you jack one front wheel up you can tell by turning the front wheel if it engages 4x4 when pressed as wheel will no longer spin, the yellow knob pulls a pin out of the center shaft of the 3 at the front which once out lets that shaft slide ,yellow knob cant be pulled up once shafts moved till the hole in the shaft is realigned by pulling red lever backyes it should stay down once pressed .but i don think its engaged .i am refering to high range !
pushing yellow knob down doesnt engage the front axle so a wheel will spin if jacked off the ground but other wheel on the ground, if so remove the tin cover theres 3 bolts holding the cover , 1 pivot bolt for yellow knob lever ,and see if the center shaft is seizedno it does not engage i can tell ,but will it take a lot to fix ?
oil and movementhow does it free up ?
