Hi All

I've just bought a winch bumper (standard non-aircon type)and after sitting it down in front of the 90, I think I may have issues fitting it.

My steering guard bolts to the inner edge of the chassis members (using the lashing points and a bolt that holds part of the steering assembly.
My new bumper also uses the front lashing points (as well as the standard bumper bolts)
This means I now have two 8-10mm poeces of metal that need to be in the same place.

This must be a fairly common problem, lots of people have winch bumpers AND steering guards fitted - What did you have to do to get them both to fit?

Man Thanks

You need longer bolts. You may have to champher the ends of one of them to get them inside the other.

no joy it doesn't fit..
Went into the job all cocky with me new bolts and because the bracket fits on to the inner chassis rails and has a "lip" bit it seems to get in the way of the strenthening plates of the bumper..

back to square one...

Would it be possible to take the steering guard apart and oval the holes in the front plate allowing you to move the brackets either inwards or outwards to miss the bumper?
