Just bought meself another disco off egay. Taxed and tested till the end of february, needs a few bits sorting but basically ok, 446 quid. Who's had one cheapest? Not a total scrapper but with an MOT and in running order. Come on, shout up if you've done better than 446 quid:D

can't beat that for a disco, but I've just paid 250 notes for a 110 CSW with 11 months mot and 3 months tax.

How the bloody hell did you manage that?

right time, right place :). Was offered 400 for it 20 minutes after I picked it up and then 500 for it 2 days later by someone else.

the person who owned it before me was convinced the 2.5td engine was naffed. "It can't pull my trailer" was what I was told. It was left at the stables for a week and during that time some scrote decided to try and remove the rear passenger door by pulling the top away so it's split and doesn't open properly. Plenty of dings and dents over it and it will need some minor welding for the mot next year. it's by no means a "perfect" example of a 110.

I've since found the turbo hose wasn't tightened on properly, the air filter was dirty, don't think it has had an oil change in years.

Driving it is an experience. Other landy owners actually wave :) as you pass by, totally different to my disco. (which feels like a sports car after driving the 110).

the way I look at it, I can sort the body work, change the engine to a 200tdi and still get my money back IF i decide to sell it.
