I have a 52 reg 1.8 and the fuel pump has decided to give up this acording to the AA man, as he was hitting the bottom of my fuel tank...
But which fuel pump do I order/buy?
Iv been told they changed 2 or 3 times between 2000 and 2004

Anyone help me?

it is in the tank but at the top he would by hitting it underneath make no difference you need to fold the back seats forward and undo the drivers side carpet and you will see a cover plate take that off and then undo your pipes they are a squeeze connector that goes in and then it looks like a big jam jar lid you need to get that off and then just pull it out I tucked the pipes ect under the body so not to fowl the pump and while you are at it they have a filter on replace it. and that cover all Freelander 1 petrol according to hanes
