I've seen a fair bit of discussion in threads lately regarding tyres, various running pressures and the effect on handling so I thought i would start a thread where we could post the combinations used on our respective cars to provide some guidance and feedback.

Car - '96 4.6 petrol
Tyres - Front & Rear - Toyo Proxes S/T 255 55r 18 109V
Pressures - 30 F 36 R
Comments - Arrived at these pressures for best road road performance and minimum tread wear. Very good on all surfaces, no tramlining and very durable. Came with the car so no idea regarding price. Would recommend.

hi, i run a 2000 v8 vogue fitted with fullruns all round excellent tyres in all weather cost £320.00 fitted and balanced .. the handbook ( rangerover ) says 28 front 38 back and have run on that for last 2 years no probs nice ride and even wear ,,, hope this helps p.s. the treads are vert similar to pirrelli .. excellent value inmho. cheers mozz
