I have a 2003 disco which has had decat-EGR-remapped-K&N filter-new airbags-new clutch.

it's done 174k so wondering what would be the next thing to change while ive brass in me pocket, im thinking silicone hose's to replace the standard hoses, or even the silicone bushes all round(not sure which is the best to buy).

so any suggestions welcome

It's my daily ride/family car so I like them safe and looked after, apart from the clutch and air bags the rest was personal choice to improve an already decent motor.
I know new silicone bushes all round can really improve the ride but not sure if there is a preferred brand.

Or if I should be looking at changing something else which I've overlooked.

As it's a mainly road car my emphasis would be on reliability and safety so I would be changing:

1. Injector harness;

2. Propshaft U/j's;

3. Discs and pads;

4. Serpentine belt;

5. Ride height sensors;

6. Coolant and brake fluid;

7. All filters and all oils;

8. Those stupid black plastic plugs on the diff pans for brass ones;

9. Batteries in your remotes;

10. The ally coolant piece on the head that joins the main top hose.


Can't think of anything else at the mo,
