Currently hovering over the buy button for new front and rear airbags for the P38. AUTODOC have got Arnott ones in stock but no mention on the package qty. Anyone got any info on qty or potentially a better UK supplier at a decent price?
I use Dunlops on my L322 and haven't had any issues but that said, I didn't have any issues with the old ones... Until I did.

Have you looked at Maltings? They have them on their site here: https://maltings4x4store.co.uk/categories/range-rover-p38/suspension/springs.html. If you sign up with them, there is a bit of a discount for their Trade Club which took me a while to work out that you earn points that you can redeem as vouchers and then save a few quid on the postage to make it a next day delivery for the price of standard 3-4 days. They've been really good so far for me but I don't know how the prices would stack up as I don't buy P38 parts.

Dunlops a bit pricey but Proevo+ about right.

Never heard of Proevo+ before. Not sure I'd risk them over Dunlop, not even being 30% cheaper!

Done a post search and it is this blend motor that was playing up, I fitted a new pot and it was fixed until now. So... either...
1- my soldering leaves a lot to be desired.
2- the new pot has failed.
3- the motor has died.
Question..nano says pot failed BUT if the motor has failed then the pot wouldn't move so motor failure would flag up pot failure on the nano too?
Just thinking aloud until I get to work on it again this afternoon weather permitting.

Pro Evo+ seem to specialise in JLR and are based not far from me in Abingdon. Guess that's their office and everything shipped from China?

24 month guarantee on all products, apparently. Tempted to pop in next time I am there and see if they're available for a chat.

Sounds plausible.

Is the G going to be in the SKU code most likely? Currently looking on JGS. Island have them listed as Dunlop though. Still, time to put my hand in my wallet. Again.
When I wanted some bags I read somewhere that there were 3 options from suppliers.
Britpart , cheapest and unbranded in a britpart box.
Britpart with a G after the part number were genuine dunlops in the same britpart box as above. Bit more expensive.
And finally, genuine dunlops in, I presume, a dunlop box which were more expensive of all 3.

Motor failure as in jammed will show as a pot failure due to lack of movement.

Well I have landed in 'civilisation'. The Golden Girl is now with the guys with the knowledge and tools to make her all better. Keeping fingers crosses that the 'clicking behind the dash' thread may be the resolution to her clicking behind the dash 🤞 More importantly, hoping that the injectors issue, isn't really an issue 🙏🤞🙏🤞🙏🤞

Funny thing, those old Land Rovers, aren't they? Just checked the new wiring loom, did a quick comparison against the THREE (!) diagrams in my repair manual, which is so badly printed most of the color codes are unreadable. Need to check against the forth one in the manual that came with car, ehich is different from the three in the repair manual. I know, because I checked when I chased down some weird electrical gremlins last time.

So, if anyone of you fine folks just so happens to have a readable wiring diagram for a 1982 four door RRC with rear wiper and rear fog lights, I'll appreciate! I'll also ask AutoSparks for one, after they did build the loom so they should have the correct one at hand. Not sure if I can trust whatever color code LR specified in their plans and what Autospark used... Fun days ahead, for sure!!!

passed its mot today after spending over £1300 quid on repairs, then told i had a advisory on front bottom arm ,play in ball joint ,only been on twelve months.
