Its LHD
Is it a three or five door?
What engine would it have had?

I'm thinking TD4, think I can just make out the turbo pressure relief filter hanging down near the bulkhead

just removing the fuel filler would tell you if diesel or petrol

Its a 5 door cos you can see the center rear head rest.

Its also one from the LR Special Vehicles dept. - the "Lightweight", as can be seen by the need for a rock to hold it on the ground.

I wondered about the headrest - I take it the three doors never had them?

I need a 3-door shell, definitely diesel and preferably a td4 to ease the paperwork. This is for sale, but the seller is not answering questions.

I thought it was a 3 door because it looks like it has 2 separate sun roof panels. This was before I noticed that centre head rest.

So does mine.

It looks like a 3 door, because of the sunroof panels and also looks very light at the back, like it has no roof.

5 door, 98-00 (old type of front end panel, old type of wing mirrors, old types of Coolant and PAS reserviors), L-series diesel (Bosch ECM, EGR vent filter, MAF sensor on bulkhead)

It's a 3 door five seat model, 1998-2000, diesel most likely an L series.

I didn't know that the 3 door could have a central head rest, mine didn't.
I think it's a 3 door.
This is based on what looks like 2 separate sun roof panels and no aerial just above the windscreen.
