This isn't a for sale thread either just a question.

I need both sills doing on my discovery 300 tdi so my question is, is it actually worth doing I ask as I'm looking to upgrade in the next year or so. I would like people's opinions on if it would be a better selling point that all the sills have been done, it had the boot floor done 2 years ago as well.

So what are people's opinions on it is it worth it or should I not bother and just break the rust bucket up.

depends if you can be bothered doing the work and can justify the cost/loss

dont brake always try to save, (if you sell hbow much lol)

tbh its 2/3 days work if you can do some yourself, £70 in steel with some left over and then tidying up...wouldnt add to value of the car but would make yours more sellable than one that needs it doing

I'm in the north east, I have got a friend who is going to do it he is a welder by trade as well. I reckon I can justify the costs it's a great car which hasn't let me down (touch wood). Should I change all the body mounts as well why I'm there or is that a big job. I like to think of myself as a competent mechanic as well so don't mind if its a bit of a arsey job.

I'm not going to list a price because that would be breaking the rules.

Well I paid 1k 10 months ago will full t+t so I would have no chance of recovering what I paid. I'm happy with it just wanted some opinions really.
