Why do I have the feeling that buying this Landy I may never take the family away on holiday again!
Also what do you think of this advice?
Hi Anaconda,Which advice exactly?
Hi Anaconda,
It's when he's took the top of the TD5
- Wiring harness into the injectors
- Change rubber gasket
I've also heard that if you have the top off to also change plastic dowels to metal ones - would this be correct?
Also is there a PDF available for like a workshop part list? (and the winning lottery numbers for this evening!)
In additional is there a guide for nm when tightening up bolts on the engine and any particular order, so not to over tighten etc.
Sorry another question too - whats a good sprocket set for this kind of work?
Thanks again everyone for your advice and helpful input.![]()
Check the ECU under the drivers seat for any oil in the loom. If the big red wireloom connector is covered in oil then you need to change the injector loom, otherwise don't bother. Oil was dripping out of my ecu wire connector when I bought it. I forgot to check when I went to look to buy it, I was too excited..Hi Anaconda,
