Hey everyone, new member here. I've done some internet searching and can't seem to resolve my issues, so I'm hoping someone on here will have some advice.

I have a 2008 LR2 HSE. Clearly, given the name designation, it's a US-spec model. However, I currently live in the UK and have it here with me. How's that for irony?

Anyway, I recently had to have the right-front TPMS sensor replaced. I bought a new replacement off a UK LR parts website (although I don't think it's exact OEM) and had a local tire shop install it. However, my computer still doesn't recognize that a new one is installed.

After doing some digging, I discovered that the computer is automatically supposed to register the new sensor if you drive over 12.5mph for 15 minutes straight. I've done this to no avail.

However, I also realized that the US sensors work on a 315mhz frequency, while the rest of the world is on 433mhz. As my new sensor was bought in the UK, I assume that it's transmitting at 433mhz.

Here's the question: Is it possible to get a 415mhz sensor to talk to my US-spec computer? If so, how? Thanks in advance for any help.

Nope!

The hardware inside the RF receiver inside the roof lining dictates which frequency the signal is detected in. Sorry :(

As you correctly state you need a US spec TPMS sensor.

Vissie, thanks for the reply. This is the answer I was expecting to get, but was hoping the receiver could pick up dual frequencies.
