DKL - how often is your compressor 'on' in general use? Also, after switching the engine off and closing/locking the doors, does you can lower itself immediately either on flat/level ground or on a slope?

All P38's had (and should still have) EAS, it's only wonderful and rare Classic's that have it and cna join the club

I like my LSE and air. I'd be prepared to spend a bit to get it fixed should that become necessary. The rear legroom is really quite something although it has to be said most of my trips are one up!
Mike, mine adjusts when you close the last door when you stop. I'm not aware of the pump running for more than 30 secs or so once started. Certainly the car stays level but the level itself does vary - sometimes after a few days of no use it sits at entry height but after a day in the car park it is where I left it when I return.
Cuurently away having all the holes in the inner wings fixed and the rear wheel arches welded. Hopefully I can put all the front underlay and carpet back in when it returns which should make a difference to the running noise.

you should have "the classics working correctly on eas club" then it would be even smaller

I definitely like the LSE's I must admit DKL! Had mine been an LSE I'd have bought it, just so happens it wasn't but I liked the car so what the hell! There really isnt much legroom behind my seat though..
There'd be no one in it! ;-)

Less than 350 were sold in France and maybe 5000 in the world...I feel 'exclusive' is a much more accurate description . . .
('93 Classic LSE - still on air.)
By the way, I seem to remember reading somewhere there are only about 500 LSE's still on the road. Is it true?

A lot of the LSE's went to the US market and also the far east - Saudi, Dubai, etc. So there's not many in the UK, even fewer in good nick!
