Hi currently run a Transit and a tdi 300 Disco, due to the currrent climate looking to get rid of both and run just 1 vehicle. I use the Disco for the dogs and a bit of shooting, and the van for painting and decorating. Ive seen a Disco 2 commercial, and was wondering if any one on here uses one, for work and what your views are ?

im sure for carrying around a few tins of paint n some wallpaper it will be fine

There is oodles of space inside them, but of course not as much as your Tranny. Only you will be able to tell if there's enough. The same with the lack of seats. Do you ever need more passenger space?

The other thing to consider is, are you self-employed as a painter? At present you have 2 vehicles so if one lets you down, you've got another that can fill the gap.

Ye thats whats stopping me at the moment ,although thre tranny only did 3000 miles last year, i work very local. Called on the disco twice, when the snow was down...trannys are pure crap in snow ice mud, sand, grass, fish skins...etc
