Hi all,
I've searched the air suspension posts and cant see anything to assist, and I know there's been a lot.
I had to park my 01 TD5 up after the rear chassis failed and no time to fix. I'm about to get her back on the road and have a suspension issue - its on the bump stops. Motor started first turn of the key and runs as sweet as a nut.
It had a new compressor fitted before being parked up.
I have:
Removed compressor and powered remotely - it works.
Checked fuses under bonnet - 30A ok
Linked out relay across contact and compressor works.
The suspension didn't go up but I suspect the valves have an independent control line, as you wouldn't want the compressor on if the suspension needs to go down.
Checked all doors and they appear to be closed.
The front interior light wasn't coming on when the front door was opened - Checked all doors and windows - front light is now on (not sure if the light was a pointer, rear interior's were working ok)
I've jacked up the back end to give it a start - no difference.
Suspension light remains on.
Tried AA ecu reset - no change
what next to check? It's seems the relay and valves are not being requested to energise.
Is it possible to override the door interlock to prove the doors are closed?
What next?
I'm at a loss, but not prepared to be beaten!

I may have access, I'll make some enquiries. if not, I'll buy one it's bound to come in useful I'm sure.
It's a bit frustrating, I changed a height sensor and compressor before it was parked up and I was running a treat.

I've ordered a nanocom, I need the suspension sorted so I can get the beast on the lift for welding. Will hopefully be here early next week.
I'll report back after diagnostics.

Nanocom arrived on Thursday and had a quick look after setting it up. Air flow low was the only fault showing and obviously wasn't the issue although will need sorting.
Had another chance to look at it today, and although no faults were showing, the rear right level sensor was showing zero input and high volts. swapped out the sensor and now have air back up and running. nanocom shows ride height discrepancy of left 148 right 133, and I now have the display on the nanocom allowing me to input ride height so I'm guessing I need to calibrate in some way.
I'll do some more delving.

Those figures are just for brute referrence, important is to save the heights when the rears are physically at the proper level

ok, Thanks for clarifying.

Just to make sure you're in the correct place in Evo- SLABS/Utility/SLS Height calibration/ (Raise-Lower as required) /Store heights. Don't try altering the figures in the SETTINGS section. Standard height is 61.5mm gap between top of rubber bump stop and axle.
