Has anyone got any helpful info on how to get a disco 1 out of townie mode??? Tried mine today and the low range/diff lock lever is well and truley stuck in townie mode! didnt want to force the lever incase it didnt return lol

try pulling on the lever and taking the biting point on the clutch in first, the transmission rocking motion may help persuade it if that makes sense...

I may have a slight problem taking up the biting point..... its an auto m8 lol

Same was wrong with mine, unsiezing failed. Bought a good 2nd hand one for a fiver! Much much easier

Was it the lever pivots that were siezes then? where did you get the lever from,???
