hi guys, I have a discovery 2 and I have a strange noise when I de - accelerate its like a metallic rumbling, it only happens when I de-accelerate and go's away if I push the clutch in
or take it out of gear I also have a front wheel bearing gone but don t think its that it seams to be coming middle under the middle of the car

I was driving through France and it just started I had been driving though 600 mile of rain is the a way to test it?
 
try moving prop shaft and se if you can get flange to move ,there should be no movement except rotational
 
thanks I will check that out some people have said they think its the cluch but they have not heard the noise

noise on over run is usually front diff pinion bearings ,it can be in the transfer box but diff is first option, over run would have no effect on clutch
