waiting for delivery of the lpg part, still on petrol!!
havnt bothered with tints, i got quoted 350 for all the windows ecept windscreen of course, thats with all the best stuff etc and when i went to see him he was doing a brand new sport!!! looked good, except the car was not my cup of tea!

i only thinking of mine cos some **** smashed my rear window i one i put in has dark tint on it and looks a bit odd

Gav, how did you know it was the stepper that was faulty ? I have removed mine and fitted a manual power valve in its place for now, but it can't work as economically as an electronic one surely , and my local lpg centre said it could be faulty sensors giving the stepper the wrong signals.

he did the sides at a stronger tint than is legal, but he said it is done on %

Why waste money on getting the front side windows tinted, to then get stopped, fined and have to have it taken off.
For info the windscreenahs to let 75% of light through and the front side windows in the driver view have to let 70% of light through, nearly all windows have a tint in them fron standard and are just above legal, even a very light tint will make them illegal.
