Not a good start to the New Year Alan. Have they diagnosed a root cause for the repeated strokes?
Get well soon.
They thought they had when they found the atrial fibrillation, I've been on blood thinners for over a year and I thought they had cracked it. Just waiting to be called back for another MRI scan.I'm thinking of starting a stroke forum as so many of our members are being struck down, all suggestions for a name gratefully received. Thanks for your kind thoughts.:D

Er, scary, what happens if the battery isn't disconnected for at least 10 minutes first??

Probably nothing but if the wrong voltage spike goes through the airbags can deploy. Hence for safety they say disconnect the battery and wait for the capacitors to discharge. The airbags are explosive so can cause a bit of a shock, potentially some damage and are eff off expensive so on balance the risks outweigh any benefit from cutting a corner.
