Probably nothing but if the wrong voltage spike goes through the airbags can deploy. Hence for safety they say disconnect the battery and wait for the capacitors to discharge. The airbags are explosive so can cause a bit of a shock, potentially some damage and are eff off expensive so on balance the risks outweigh any benefit from cutting a corner.

Eek. Was hoping not to have to, but OK I'll disconnect the battery! SRS fault notice had gone today on first startup (re-appeared last night), then back a few miles later taking one of the dogs for a walk, then gone again...trying to remember where I left my soldering iron, solder and heat-shrink...

It's OK, my car is a DT upgraded to Autobiography level, so I thought you were the previous owner wanting the leather back! Sorry to have disturbed x

Same here, near enough and same for RR DT. Although I deliberately left manual seats in mine and the high intensity brake light off.

cheers Mark, MRI and appointment with consultant on Tuesday so fingers crossed, and thanks to @mozz smith for his telephone and whatsapp support, he's been through two and hope we're not getting into a competition.:D

I've got £20 riding on whether I or my boss checks out first.

No, that would give me a stiff neck from trying to watch them :D and I'm very particular about what TV my younger dog watches!
My dog’s favourite is ’milkshake puppies’. Is a kids show but he only has a brain the size of a walnut.

High intensity brake light? - the 3rd one in rear screen?

Yep. The mount is there and possibly the wiring too. Never bothered to look.
