What is cavity wax? What is it used for?Fairly straight forward to fit. Put plenty cavity wax in where you drill holes through the cappings etc. My tip would be - put the skinniest, lightest wheel/tyre on. Something to get you home.
It's a waxy/oily substance that prevents corrosion. You can get several makes/brands such as Dinitrol and Waxoyl etc. You can spray it on to surfaces such as the outside of your chassis, or you can spray it inside sections (cavities) such as inside your chassis rails, little holes etc.[/Q

YES ! line it up correctly and carefully... Measure it ****loads, mine was fitted by Mantec and they did it wrongly, as such too much weight is on the door latch and its always as stiff as buggery to open. I would fit and mark it without the wheel, it needs to take the weight but not mess with your rear door alignment.
