hi on the 200 tdi bobtail i cant see a sedimenter so the qs is are they really needed?

Its probably still connected to the part of the body that was removed !

it was probably taken off...

my fender has a disco200 injun in it and there's no sedimenter

They're bolted to the inside of the chassis not body, in front of the fuel tank. When I grabbed a 200 out the donar disco for my range rover, the sedimenter was corroded to hell and wouldn't in anyway open up for a clean out so I checked with a very good local land rover garage, and they told me you really don't need them. Like mentioned above, fenders dont have them either
