Bad plugs. Pain in the ass to do again but before you do. Pull the leads one at a time with the motor running then you will see which one is causing the misfire. Be careful tho cos they can give a jolt ! Then replace the bad one. Did you change them by removing one lead at a time so there was no chance of getting them mixed up ? Got two wrong on mine and it still felt fine under load. Of you have the long type coil. Make sure you haven't loosened one. Its easy to do.

Jarvas i changed the plugs one at a time like you say so deffo not mixed up.
Before i put old ones back in im going to try your method.
So when i pull one lead off at a time how will i know which one is the 'bad one'? Is it when the engine runs the same when its off and the rest (The good ones) will make it worse when off?

Not sure if this matter but the old plugs are NGK BPR7E and the new ones are NGK BPR7ES.

Right Iv just put the old plugs back in (Didnt clean them up so i didnt alter the gap, plus they were running fine before!)
I dont want to jinx it but so far so good!
Its not wanting to cut out anymore. There does seem to be a slight misfire, im not sure if it was there before or not.
Here is a pic of the 'NEW' spark plugs (All were the same condition) really blackend up and had only done about 8 miles!
Could the missfire now be down to the old plugs as they were real blackened up? Going to change them again anyway!

Sorry Jarvas! bpr6e is what i had originally had (Back in) and i got sent the bpr6es
Got them off Ebay, says bpr7es in the pic but got sent bpr6es. The ad says they are good for both the 4.0 and 4.6! Will deffo put the original type in when i re new!

So you are happy to pay in total £19.25 for 8 plugs. These plugs are less than a quid a piece at motor factors, if your in the trade, a little more if not. But you should get 8 for less than a tenner anywhere.

On RV8 TVR's this kind of idling issue can often be down to a problem with the stepper motor.

Eye not the cheapest i know... But the motor spares round here are rip off cooonts, would have to travel out of where i live to get em under a quid!
So it would prob cost relativley the same in plugs+fuel going to buy them....
Would blackened up plugs cause a slight miss fire??
Yes rich running. Too much fuel, not enough air, one or the other.
