unfortunately rust has found its was around the windscreen (top part) and was looking into fixing it. before i start tearing thing apart, is there anything i need to replace in the process? seals etc?

Not really, it should be a clean remove, fixing replace!

“Accidentally” crack your windscreen. Get them to come to yours and remove it. Then come back a week later to install a new one. Between visits do this.

That's what I had done with mine! But the accidentally break! Was anaccidentally break! Windows came out, removed window! Over the week of next visit! Lots of fixing and welding
