Just a thought, has any one thought about running a landie with two gearboxes fitted in line? The ratios for crawling would be awesome, I know the Yanks have done it but I cant find any landies, what are your thoughts?

high/low ratio - erm int that like having two gearboxes?

have yu every tried pulling in low 1st?

They already have I know what you mean though. Ian Ashcroft makes an underdrive which is a third inline gearbox for crawling.

yes i have i'm just exploring an idea 25 ratios plus hi lo would make an incredibly capable vehicle. both in terms of hi and low gearing
