I have to disagree slightly !.
I'm sure there is isolated examples of body rot, but from what Ive seen the D2 body is standing up to corrosion very well.

We will see. mine has had 2 sills cut out and replaced,rear wheel arch plated,hole in boot floor, wondered why carpet kept getting wet.removed storage bins to replace capet there was the culprit where floor pan meets inner wing.small plate on scuttle panel under bonnet.
