Are any Landyzoner's attending John's funeral? I had planned to but had to have back surgery 10 days ago so can't drive, or even travel for that matter. Really wanted to make an appearance for John and of course Heidi :(

We would really like to be there, but babysitting duties in London have us pinned. Will mentally pay my respects on the day.

John had an escort of Landies on his final journey which is only right and proper and we arrived in the midst of a blizzard.

A fitting tribute for a man that could fit more mischief into his life than most twice his size.

It was a pretty unconventional service as per John's wishes and his ability to cut through the bull with humourous sarcasm when things get a bit too serious shone through.

I was chatting to Heidi and she's not sure what to do with the 90. She'd like to keep it but doesn't want it left parked up unused and it really needs some fettling to make it more user friendly.

Sam suggested sorting a weekend for a crew to go through it which I think is a great idea.

I'll leave Heidi some time to find her feet again but ask Rob to make a proper assessment of what's needed when he can and see if we can come up with a plan.

Meanwhile....somewhere on a cloud...

I couldn't go. Had planned to but stuff happens and I'm so sorry I couldn't get there. I would have liked to pay respects directly, and instead I had a little drinkie poo and raised a glass for John silently.

Thinking of you Heidi ...
