i rescued the first person this season!!!
a gaylander 57 plate auto!!!
from the middle of a field, well there used to be a road there somewhere!!
only trouble is i had to go in the tractor, a real one not a landy!!
the gaylander was up to the headlights in snow!!!

I too 'saved' someone yesterday, up on my factory estate, a large artic became stuck with spinning tractor wheels in 18" snow, I hooked a strap from him to my towbar & 'oiked' him out quite easily, I don't think any of my wheels even slipped, felt rather chuffed with myself!!
These P38s really are great in snow/ice etc. & i,ve not experienced any slipping & sliding to speak of, seems to drive just about the same as normal!

The prat down the road asked me to pull him out of a little ditch told him to f off as his missus wrote me a letter in the summer about how much damage I was doing to the environment running a gas guzzler - I pointed out it ran on lpg and was kinder to the environment than their diesel bmw - I felt chuffed too as they then had to pay the local garage to come and do it that will teach her to keep her opinions to herself
