I too 'saved' someone yesterday, up on my factory estate, a large artic became stuck with spinning tractor wheels in 18" snow, I hooked a strap from him to my towbar & 'oiked' him out quite easily, I don't think any of my wheels even slipped, felt rather chuffed with myself!!
These P38s really are great in snow/ice etc. & i,ve not experienced any slipping & sliding to speak of, seems to drive just about the same as normal!

sandyt - nice one aswell don't blame you for telling them to feck off, I can't stand feckin environment bastids, 1 its a load of bollocks and 2 its not a proven theory so they can all shut the fu@k up!!!!
 
rescued another fella with my p38 this time: (no pics tho)

a car had pulled up sharp, (woman hadnt assesed the road properly and adjusted her speed correctly) his choices were lamp post or the gap between her car and the lamp post, turns out the gap was too small, he hit her and ended up in a bush/ditch.

along comes i and asks if he wants it pulling out, then hooks the fooker up and without a slip tows him accross the grass and back onto the road!!!

then off into the sunset like ken boon!!!
