My range rover L322 has a flat battery , is locked and the emergency key is not working. It turns but doesn't open the door. Any ideas how to open it without breaking a window ?

Hello and welcome
i believe some people use the trailer socket to feed the battery with a charge
best to ask in the range rover section of the forum.

On my last car, not a JLR product you had to open the door while the key was still turned in the lock

Try attaching a power feed to the main feed wire from the battery to the starter..
Ground to the chassis..

depending on the engine, you can on the M62 IIRC i can't remember if the diesel lumps can be done..
