I've been doing some work on my brothers 90 td (soon to be loaned to me).
I've changed the fuel filter and whilst bleeding air from the system I've sheared the bleed nut off the top of the injector pump. Massive d'oh.....
I can't believe I'm the first to do this and Mr Craddock want to flog me a new injector pump for the best part of 500 quid
any ideas of a good way to plug the hole?
Is there much pressure inside the pump(if I stick a self tapping screw in the hole to plug it up)?
Looking forward to any replies cos I'm a tight wad and there's no way I'm spending 500 sheets
