so can a defender 90 300tdi run on veg oil at 50% each way with derv and will it run ok............?
 
Best to keep to 25% in this cold weather, but in summer 50% should be ok. Try it with 1/4 tank diesel and 1/4 veg if it doesn't work properly at least you can top up the tank with diesel and be back on 25% mix. I use mine on 25% at the moment but will be going 50% in summer.
 
so its veg oil not animal oil but what about sunflour oil.and so if im to put disel in in morning as im on 1/4 tank naw i can put up to 5 liters of oil and then fill up with diesel and itl be ok you say thank you.

for someone that nows nothing me of course! does the veg oil, run on lucas cav pumps without any trouble thanks.

yer take the sump plug out of a tiger and drain it, then when yer fill yer landy yer can say "put a tiger in your tank"
