It don't look a bad bit of kit, just don't want to buy it to find out it ain't man enough

it might bend the tube, but whether it'll give you the neat radius's you'll want......

Very similar to ones i used at work, and would say yes. But why use pipe with so heavy a wall thickness? I would say 2.5 to 3 mm would be more than enough.

Personally, I think it might be a little too 'budget' - it's just a bottle jack in a frame and might struggle a bit with such heavy gauge tubing. Could you splash a bit more cash and get something that looks a little more purpose built? 371274 Heavy Duty Hydraulic Pipe Bender 1/2" - 2" 21.3mm to 60mm, SWG-2A | eBay
After all, the materials are free, so you might as well splash out on good tools!

That does look like a nice bit of kit, but i measured the wall thickness of the pipe yesterday and it is 5mm and even the one you listed says it will only bend up to 4.5mm so i think anything but an industrial bender will struggle so its looking like a non starter

Go old style and use a gas axe to heat the tube up. Get it cherry red then bend it..

Mate just seen pipe bender in op chated to bloke he was making hand rails it will bend pipe just a little bigger than a scaffold pole brilliant bit of kit he said convince me I going to get one

Got one of them.....except mine does not have the legs, it sits on casters instead.

I brought it back from the Middle East when I came back in Feb. It is still wrapped in bubble wrap at my dads. If anyone wants to borrow it they are welcome to give it a try.

I'd love to, but Warrington's a bit far to go when I want to bend a pipe!
