Hi All, just wanted to give you a update on where I'm at with this.. I've had the RR at a garage and they say the full leak is between the distributor and the injector where they meet/butt up against each other. They have quoted me £650 to fix which is way out of my budget.

So my question is, does this sound reasonable and if so what's the for sale market like for P38's with fuel leaks...

Distributor? Like on an old petrol car? Or the high-pressure fuel pipes between the FIP and the injectors?

Give yourself a few hours as it is your first time. Kit is £15 - £20 quid. You can get an endoscope that plugs in your laptop for about a fiver and poke it into any holes to see where the fuel is leaking from. Diesel is pretty easy to spot / sniff! Might be worth uploading some pictures for people to see but normally 4 of the seals tend to fail first.
