I loved towing with the 4.6 used to change gear at 1700rpm on light throttle and upto 3k if I wanted to get a move on.

Felt like a tuned DSE with 3 ton on the back

Unladen. Well.

It felt like a grunty V8.

Rads are a piece of pish to replace on the P38.

There’s something on here about when my viscous fan failed, blew out my rad, overheated til it went into limp mode (with manual Gbox) kept driving as couldn’t leave it there, really bad overheat and not the first @143,000miles, head is still fine

Let us know how you get on with that. If ever I need another I might look at it. Does it have connections at the bottom for the gearbox oil on the manual?

Valid point. Looks like a proper bit of kit and double the Nissens price so should do.

It may look pretty, but if it has no baffle it's as useful as tits on a Mars bar.

I did mean no sign of baffle attachment in middle header tank.

Think outside, no box required.
