Aye tis true. Though I have been tempted on occasion, i'm a defender man myself , theres something about them i just love, totally classless and all the good people drive one , no offence intended, don't want to set this thread alight or anything.
But if he does get it , you never know the green eyed monster might start to rear its head. think i might wait till I'm a bit older when I might need the comfort a little more.
yep - bought mine as a family car for the comfort really (do fair bit of motorway driving & caravan towing ) - & I really love it , BUT.... after reading about & watching the 'T*O*S*S*E*R*S' exploits I'd love to get into some off road / greenlanin' stuff but dont fancy it with my shiny new disco - i'd be forever t-cuttin all the scratches out.
SO....... I'm considering getting a series or a 90/110 or defender - prob as a winter project to work on & have ready for next year - maybe even a lightweight.
so ... this time next year I could be a tosser!!
