Hi first time posted on here have a 2003 V8 Disco never had a problem startin but this morning i have it turns over but not even tryin to start lifted bonnet no smell of petrol its got lpg but run out so was just runnin on petrol for last couple of daysand not had any issues ..any suggestions thanks...........

You're a miserable bunch sometimes!!

Running out of petrol does sound a contender though. I'm guessing by the absence of a response it could well have been the right answer though!

Yeeaaaaahhhh but when a 1PW shows up and expects help just like that one feels a bit disheartened towards the chap.

I actually considered PMing him my PayPal address which would make me feel a bit happier about offering help.

ha ha well i will update plenty off fuel in tank all fuses/relays checked.no fuel no spark! started with a sunroof leak a week ago had fuse box out and checked got it started running fine then next morning same again wont start. .....

These have ECU controlled fuel and spark right?

Pretty sure they have a crank sensor that basically controls the lot!!

Maybe security issue??

crank sensor fitting booked in Monday morning will be happy if this solves the problem ..Thanks for reply
