Hi guys
Im on my first range rover recently bought just wondering if its normal for the suspension pump to be noisy on start up then goes quiet when height has settled. Quite loud buzzing sound
Thanks
Aaron

If it's a P38, the underside of the EAS box often often contacts the inner wing amplifying the noise. A quick reshaping of the inner wing with a hammer cures the problem.

1/4" spacers under the EAS box stopped mine from vibrating on the wing. . . . no wing mods !!

Its probably the piston seal on the con rod at the back of the compressor, might be knocking against the cylinder on start up then getting higher pitched as it speeds up.

Hiya

the compressor might be worn out or the support bracket broken

if the compressor runs longer than normal there’s a leak

does the RRs drop over night plse

Does a yellow or red warning light come up on the dashboard

take the lower cover off and ensure it’s secure and bracket hasn’t broken off on the corner

Dont drop overnight but i do get the yellow warning light on dash now and again NOT ALWAYS but been on id say 4 times in the month iv owned it then goes off
