Will it run with difflock on? When you put it in gear and let the clutch out is anything turning underneath? .. Like a propshaft etc? Any noises when you put it in gear?
If it runs with diff on then it's possibly just a half-shaft, or UJ, or donut, or propshaft dropped off ... a bit more info on what happened when you lost drive, noises, speed etc might help ...

hi paul no drive with diff lock nothing i had just set off third gear then nothing i can put the gear stick in any gear nothing happens there is a slight noise when i press the clutch but nothing bad
With the engine running, put it gear and let the clutch out, get out and have a look underneath see if any propshaft, front or rear, is turning, might be a diff gone but doubtful that they both went and if only one went then the other should work with difflock on.
Can you tell if it's actually selecting a gear, hear anything from the gears etc? Could be selectors I guess, but that doesn't explain losing drive whilst moving!

no its not the hi lo gear lever took it to local garage he took the gear box off and there is no clutch left only bits should be back on the road soon
