hi my a/c has been working fine i turned it on today and the clutch is not loching on the pump any ideas?

Could be anything from an electrical fault to no gas in the system.

i think its low on gas if i power the compressor with a probe the a/c works but i can hear a gurgaling noise im going to gas it up tommorrow.

re gassed but still dont work unless i power it with the probe then it runs on its own but when you turn it on im only getting 11volts at the plug any ideas
I'm not in you guys' league but I had the clutch not kicking in. I know a low flying cloud'll stop it but I'd done the dreaded O ring job and had disturbed the connectors on the rear of the unit, evidently. I cleaned them all up with switch cleaner and pulled and shoved them a few times and uttered a mild oath. That did it. Sorry if that's not technical enough. I'm still suferring pain, though and learning. regs P.S
