I'm looking to buy a new replacement glass for my freelander sunroof as the old one is rotten and leaky can anybody recommend where I can get one as cheap as possible :)
 
I know glass doesn't rot but the frame its bonded onto does! so if I get a new glass it will come the frame attached to it! lol

lol Ive already messaged that one on ebay to ask if he any decent ones but he hasn't! The famous four one looks ok I might get one next payday all being well :)
 
Sorry to bring forth an old post but as anyone sourced new sunroof glass yet ? and if so do we have a link please Arctic2

I have just ordered a new one for my 5 door 2004 today, cost £123 new, inc vat and delivery....cheapest around trust me, I have looked.
if you haven't got one yet I can tell you where.

I bought one and fitted it in November but thank you for the offer ;)

Hi Allen.
Yes undo the bolts lift out the old sunroof glass/frame and drop new one in nip up the bolts once in place tighten them up, no more leaks ;)

great news....I will have a go when it arrives then, expensive but worth it in the long run as I am keeping this one.:p

Arctic2, Hi mate, I'm having the same issue with a leaky sunroof & rotten sunroof glass frame, and was wondering where you got your new glass from for the price you stated ... I can't find it any cheaper than £145!!:eek:
 
I would need to check my invoice it as been that long, but I have a feeling I roughly paid about £140.00 mark never did get one for £123.00 as above
