Hi Guys im the owener of a new freelander its jet black 22inch chrome wheels and blacked out windows , and i cant wait to see what she can do offroad. can someone tell me what green laning is please..looking forward to meeting you all.

Greenlaning is basicly driving on byways or UCR's (unclasified county roads). They are generally unsurfaced and very overgrown. I would first advise that you tag along with a group of other landy owners to get a general idea of what it's all about, and never go out on your own. That's just asking for trouble.

Sounds like a nice shiney vehicle, are you sure you want to get it scratched, bent, dented, stuck and completly broken going off road. Why do you think so many of us on here have old discos, series and defenders.
But fair play for your entusiasm.

It's something you do in a Land Rover that doesn't have blacked out windaz and 22" chrome effect alloys... Has it got an Alpine stereo and are the alloys "Tree Spoke" ?
