You want some of these....

Do it properly! Springs and shocks... research as much as you can and decide what set up is best for you. If your road biased and reguarly taking the family round your probably not gonna want supersoft springs suited to trialling, do you ever tow?
All depends what you use it for. Blocks are a quick fix if you havn't got time or a cheap fix if you can't afford to do it properly in my opinion. Why would you run a lift with standard shocks/springs? Seems daft to me!
I would definately get a set of BFG mud terrain tyres great off road and ive just driven to Ireland and back on them with almost no road noise, they are simply brilliant
thanks for that mate, very useful, well its mainly road use but with the odd laning trip/play day thrown in.
yes it will be towing eventually, sold my caravan to fund this but will be having another once i get the disco sorted and started saving up again.
when doing a lift im guessing the flexi hoses would need to be longer too??
also will be going with some more agressive tyres too but again mainly road use type.
thats why im trying to do the simpler things first, at least i can kinda work out whats best there![]()
thanks guys, theres plenty there for me to absorb now.
is there any particular brands to steer clear of??
